Andrew Vaughan, Chairman, ACA Welcome to the website of the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA). The Association is the representative body for UK consulting actuaries, whilst the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries is the professional body. The Association is the largest national grouping of consulting actuaries in the World.

The Association draws its membership from individual actuaries working in the consulting sector. Our members are all qualified actuaries – mainly Fellows of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. All actuarial advice given by our members is subject to the Actuaries' Code.

The Association has close to 1750 members working in over 75 firms. Members provide advice to thousands of pension schemes, including most of the country's largest schemes. As well as actuarial services to and the design of pension schemes, consulting actuaries in many firms are now involved in a wide range of additional areas. These include investment, takeovers and mergers, benefits communication, international benefits, life and general insurance, healthcare, corporate finance and risk, damages, reversions and advice on financial settlements on divorce.
